Carbon8Lighting was commissioned to upgrade the lighting system in an office workspace at Capital Coated Steel, replacing outdated fluorescent ceiling panels with energy-efficient LED 600x600 panels. The primary goals were to reduce energy consumption, minimise maintenance costs, and improve the overall quality of lighting throughout the site.
The existing fluorescent lighting system was inefficient and expensive, contributing significantly to their electricity budget. Maintenance costs were also high, with regular replacements needed due to frequent tube burnouts. To address these issues, Carbon8Lighting proposed a complete conversion of the office’s fluorescent ceiling panels to modern LED 600x600 panels.
